Il Covo Ristorante Italiano & Sopra Lounge is a, sleek and sophisticated Italian restaurant in the fashionable Bucktown neighborhood now serving authentic Italian fare with a Sardinian flair. “il covo”, loosely translated means “a gathering spot, rendezvous or hideaway” and this bi-level Bucktown gem a great place to meet, dine and enjoy!
Now operated by Managing Partners Carol Johnson & Domenico Fronteddu and Chef Partners Nino Coronas & Giovanni Carzedda, il covo ristorante & sopra lounge offers an all new inspired Italian menu with signature dishes from the beautiful Mediterranean island of Sardania where Fronteddu, Coronas and Carzedda were born. Expect fresh seafood and prime grilled meats along with seasonal salads and signature pasta dishes as well as nightly specials based on the freshest available seasonal ingredients. For dessert enjoy traditional Italian favorites or handmade gelato and choose from our extensive wine list for the perfect bottle to compliment your meal.
Il Covo Ristorante Italiano is now open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. Reservations are encouraged but walk-ins are always welcome and we are happy to accommodate large groups in our sopra lounge for both private and semi-private events, seven days a week. |
